In this magazine report , I am going to evaluate on the demographic of my magazine “Film4You”. Moreover, I am going to state the reason why my magazine will be favourite in the markets and why I’ve setted the price at such a low cost.

Purpose

The purpose of my magazine is to inform people on upcoming films and football films. This  would see my magazine reach a wide range of audience. My magazine would also include ratings of upcoming thriller from big productions , so that it draw in readers. However, the main purpose of my magazine is to show how films are doing in the box office. This will reveal to the audience on how their films are doing in the box office sales.

Target Audience

Part of my target audience for my magazine will be aimed at young men aged between 16-24 , with some exceptions for females. The reason I have chosen this age group and specific gender, is because I personally believe that males are into football magazine more than females. Females are more into the fashion side of things. However, in contrast I also said that females will read my magazine as well. The reason I say this it’s because not all females are the same . Some females will be into sports , which sees my magazine try to attract majority of this type of female audience. As you can see in this pie chart most people who have answered this are aged round 15-17. Overall , this would be my main target audience as i can draw them in because they are most likely be into prizes and quizzes. This would guarantee sales in my magazine revenue. The reason it would guarantee sales because my magazine has a mixture of genres , which would suit my target audience. As I have mentioned before my main target would be aimed at people who are generally into football , the reason this it’s because in England football is well known sports.

Furthermore, my magazine does not only include sports films. It also includes Hollywood films. This part of the magazine is aimed at anyone in working class to upper class. I would like the target audience to be interested in different genre of films, so that it balances out my demographic side of my magazine. By me doing this , it would see my magazine reach a wide range of audience. My magazine won’t only entertain people but also inform and educate on new sports and upcoming films in today world.

Production

The price for my magazine would be £2.99 for a single magazine and for monthly magazine it would be £11.50. Yearly it would be £40.99. I chose this price because I think it would benefit everyone and anyone can buy because it’s quite cheap. The reason the price is so cheap because the target audience for my magazine are most likely going to be in secondary school or university. The price I have mentioned above is suitable for them because they might have other important things , which/ are more expensive.  

Moreover , the price of the magazine will cover my production cost , which would see me leave with profit. To print my magazine plus publication it would cost around £15,000. My magazine would need to be sold over 3,000 on a monthly basis so that I can maintain a healthy profit to redistribute more magazine and profit. My magazine would sell because of the amount of synergy it has in it. My magazine will connect to my target audience and make them interact with it through the use of quiz and prizes.  

The platform, the magazine it would be on is on all devices including iphone , samsungs and etc. It would also be on every app store so people can download it.  There will also be a subscription package which might suit people more than the actual magazine package.

In conclusion , this is what my magazine will be based around. It will suit my target audience as I have listen to their needs but moreover , it would also be in my budget criteria. I am confident that my magazine would sell.
